The hotel will prove the most challenging part of planning the convention, as hotel rates in the NYC area are notoriously high. If you have any ideas, or especially if you are connected to a hotel in the area, let us know. The current goal will be to find a hotel in the Greenwich Village area (including the East and West Villages) so that when we come home from outings to midtown or downtown we can be near the most popular restaurant and nightlife areas. Many such hotels have been contacted, and we are awaiting reply. Stay tuned to this space for updates as they come in. |
